We use the solartech unbrellas and they have worked fine for us. Just an FYI though, I was just on Recreonics checking out the umbrellas that Steve uses and they are on sale right now!

I had solartech at my pools a few years back. In one day I lost over 15 of them in high winds. They were completely destroyed. I was able to return them. I have had the best luck with open weave lifeguard umbrellas. I also make sure my staff are always wearing a t-shirt and have a hat or visor on. I purchased the open weave umbrealls from Recreonics.

Just had 2 brand new ‘economy lifeguard umbrellas’ from the lifeguard store page 113. Am replacing them with 2 ’solartech umrellas’. We’ll see how they work.

We have coolers on the course for the golfers. We clean the coolers everyday, but I do know that eventulally the health department may not allow courses to use the water coolers. I have heard a few courses in the last couple of years installing water fountains on their courses to save on the cone cups for the coolers etc..

ok friends- I just talked with Heather @ IRPA….I did reject the Seal Easy bid due to the vendor providing the Heart Brand…NOT the Seal Easy brand.
I have just contacted The Lifeguard Store and they will sell them to us at $6.50….when ordering tell them that you would like it at the IPRA Price.
